Desktop Wallpaper Instructions
WINDOWS XP USERS
1.In the Display Properties dialog box, open the Desktop tab.
2.Use the Background list to click one of the image names. Keep one eye peeled on the fake monitor above the list. This gives you a preview of what the wallpaper will look like. (Some of the images take a second or two to show up, so patience is required.)
3.Use the Position list to select one of the following values:
* Center Displays a single copy of the image in the center of the screen. This is a good choice for large images.
* Tile Displays multiple copies of the image repeated so they fill the entire desktop. Choose this option for small image.
* Stretch Displays a single copy of the image extended on all sides so it fills the entire desktop. This is the one to use if the image almost fills the desktop.
4.Click OK to put the wallpaper into effect. (You also can click Apply if you'd prefer to leave the Display Properties dialog box open and ready for action—for example, if you want to change the wallpaper again after seeing it full-screen.)
WINDOWS 95, 98 AND WINDOWS NT USERS
1. Click on the dimensions link for the image you would like for your desktop wallpaper. Then click your right mouse button on the image of your choice; in the menu that appears, choose "Set as Wallpaper."
2. Minimize the browser and all other programs. If the image appears as a repeating pattern on your screen, click it with your right mouse button and choose "Properties." At the bottom of the window that appears in the area labeled "Display:" change the "Tile" selection to "Center" and "OK." The image should then appear centered on your screen.
3. If you do not see the new image, click on the desktop and hit your "F5" key. This will refresh your screen.
